Come Holy Spirit, come.
Enter into the minds and hearts of us as one.
Help us to open locked doors
to those seeking unity in our world today.
Unlock the doors of poverty that force so many
to live in misery and desire basic wellbeing.
Unlock the doors of government leaders who rule
for themselves, rather than the common good.
Unlock the doors of prejudice that lock us in rooms
of separation, rather than welcoming the other.
Free us from our own lives to witness what we can
do to give life to so many, as the Church has done
since the first Pentecost.
