The Associate Program allows men and women to establish and develop a personal and spiritual relationship with the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt and to share in their mission, as well as to deepen their spiritual lives through regular personal prayer and reflection.
Learn what it means to be a Dominican Associate.
Who are the Associates of the
Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York?
Associates are women and men who wish to respond to their call to holiness through a relationship with the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt.
Both Associates and Sisters share a mutual commitment to live out the Dominican charism through a life devoted to the Order's mission. Associates commit themselves to the vision and values of the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt while maintaining their own lifestyle.
As an Associate, you will participate in the congregation's prayer and mission in a non-vowed way. In a new form of commitment, you will attend Congregational gatherings, celebrations, retreats, and volunteer opportunities with fellow Associates and Sisters. The values of the Dominican life will enrich your vision of the Christian faith as we journey together in our own vocations.
