We all have a story or a memory that is special to us when we reflect upon the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt, NY. Perhaps it is of being taught by one of the many Sisters in the Bronx or here in Rockland County; or perhaps you have fond memories of having fun with your family and classmates at the congregation’s Annual Autumn Festival. Maybe it is of a special sister who helped you through a difficult time, whose memory now holds a special place in your heart. We all have our reasons for supporting the sisters.
Participation in our Annual Year End Appeal is a way of saying thank you to our sisters for shaping the lives of children and teens in their care, and for bringing hope, mercy, God’s love and light to the most vulnerable among us during the darkness and uncertainty of the past ten months. We pray that you will continue to support the sisters’ life, mission and ministry so that they can continue to meet the needs of all those they serve.
