On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt will host the Annual Hearts Afire Gala at The View on the Hudson in Piermont, NY. This cherished annual celebration honors individuals whose lives reflect a deep commitment to faith, compassion, and service to others.
The Hearts Afire Gala offers an opportunity to gather in gratitude and celebration, honoring lives rooted in compassion and service. It also reflects the ongoing mission of the Sisters of St. Dominic, whose commitment to caring for those who are poor and marginalized, as well as for the aging members of the congregation, continues to shape their ministry and witness.
The Mother Mary Ann Sammon Award for Compassion and Service
Each year, the Sisters of Saint Dominic honor individuals whose lives have demonstrated a spirit of faith and deep caring for others. These individuals are presented with the Mary Ann Sammon Award for Compassion and Service.
