Hearts Afire Gala
The Hearts Afire Gala is an annual event hosted by the Sisters of Saint Dominic that recognizes individuals with the Mary Ann Sammon Award for Compassion and Service. Supporting the Hearts Afire Gala enables the Sisters of Saint Dominic to carry on the Dominican mission of preaching the good news of the Gospel, as well as fostering hope, mercy, justice, and truth in today's fragile earth and fragmented world.
2020 Hearts Afire Gala Update
The Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt thank you once again for supporting the 2020 Hearts Afire Gala this year.
We are truly grateful to you all for your continued commitment to the Sisters and their work, and also for your compassionate hearts that make it possible to provide dignified care for the aging Sisters in the community.
We have come to the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Hearts Afire Gala amid the Covid-19 crisis. Due to other scheduled events and obligations throughout the summer and fall, and the uncertainty of when this crisis will end, it will not be possible for us to postpone the Gala to another date during 2020. The 2021 Hearts Afire Gala will be rescheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
For any questions regarding journal ads, reservations, or the 2021 Hearts Afire Gala, please contact Kerrin Kissel, Director of Development. Kerrin can be reached by phone at 845-359-5767 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not hesitate to contact Kerrin with any questions or concerns you may have.
