In less than a month, the majestic grounds of the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York’s Motherhouse, will once again be filled with people of all ages attending the 70th Annual Autumn Festival.
The Autumn Festival is one of the longest-running festivals in Rockland County and one of the most important fundraisers of the Sisters of Saint Dominic.
Each year, the Autumn Festival draws hundreds of attendees from the tri-state area, and it is anticipated that on September 25th, this year’s Festival will have a similar turnout.
Throughout the years, Festival attendees have enjoyed participating in fun Autumn activities, catching up with sisters they know, as well as reuniting with friends, family, and former classmates. Festival admission is free for all attendees, so bring family and friends. Also, the first 300 Festival attendees will receive a limited edition 2021 Autumn Festival shopping bag.
Despite the cancellation of last year’s event due to the pandemic, this year’s Autumn Festival is shaping up as one of the best ones yet.
Those who attend the 2021 Autumn Festival will be able to enjoy a fun fall day filled with carnival games, pumpkin painting, delicious food, music, pony rides, and favorite area vendors for some early holiday shopping.
