Last Sunday marked a joyous occasion for the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, as they celebrated the Feast of Saint Dominic and Associate First Commitment and Renewals.
Sisters, Associates, families, and friends came together in Blauvelt to witness the Associate First Commitment of Maureen O’Dwyer Zeiss, as well as the Commitment Renewals of Darlyne Lawson and Joan Crinnian.
“It was a joy to welcome Maureen as a Blauvelt Associate,” says Associate Pat Hannon. “I am sure it was a blessing for her to deepen her connection to the Sisters who she spent many years with as a student and teacher. As Associates we are grateful for her joining the Dominican Family.”
