Six Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt Celebrate Jubilee BLAUVELT, NY (6/6/2017) – The Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt hosted a Jubilee Celebration for six of their Sisters on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Motherhouse in Blauvelt, New York.
Sister Francis McLean, O.P., celebrated 75 years while Sisters Bernadette Marie Doherty, O.P., Patricia Langton, O.P., Joan Marie McKinney, O.P., Geraldine Milbert, O.P., and Barbara Werner, O.P., celebrated 60 years.
These Sisters have served in various ministries throughout their time in the congregation. Sister Joan Marie currently ministers at the Holy Cross School in the Bronx, while Sisters Geraldine and Barbara both serve the Congregation as Congregational Archivist and Motherhouse Coordinator, respectively.
